Where Sports Meet Storytelling: My Journey from Passionate Athlete to Visual Creator
My name is Noah Carrasco and I am turning raw sports moments into powerful stories through the lens of content creation.
Eventually, I moved up north to attend the University of Central Florida, embracing a fresh start without a clear career path in mind. I picked up my camera once again, this time exploring sports photography. Taking advantage of the numerous free UCF sporting events, I immersed myself in capturing a variety of athletic moments. Along the way, I discovered a passion for marketing. Today, I am a bilingual marketing major at UCF with over four years of experience in the sports industry, including work with MLS, NBA, NFL, and FIFA. I currently manage the social media and website for the UCF Recreation Gym, a facility used daily by thousands of students. With proven teamwork skills and a track record of exceeding expectations, I bring five years of photography and videography experience, advanced proficiency in Adobe Lightroom, and recognition through a marketing award.
The year was 2020. With schools closed and lockdowns in place, I set a personal goal to make meaningful use of the unexpected time. I picked up my mother’s camera, a device I had never used before, and began capturing the world around me. What started as simple curiosity soon grew into a rewarding hobby. As restrictions eased, I ventured out further and discovered a passion for automotive photography. The car community was incredibly welcoming, and the opportunity to photograph some of the most remarkable vehicles I had ever seen was irresistible. This experience allowed me to hone my skills by covering various car shows across Florida, all while practicing and growing my craft.
